Nina, Joel had another brother named Richard born around 1793, married Jenny Cottrell probably in Wilkes Co NC. In 1830 Wilkes Co census Synthia and 2 females, ages 10-15. Joel either died or disappeared before the 1830 census was taken. Cynthia is mentioned in her father will of 1842 in Blount Co.TN.1850 Caldwell census shows Cynthia and an unrelated Gibson family living with her. 1860 she is in Wilkes Co living alone. In 1870 and 1880 she is in Caldwell Co with the family of Calvin Holder.
