Does anyone have any information on the story of a young Royal man being mistaken for an outlaw and shot and killed by a sheriif's posse in the early 1900's. His name may have been "Cremmie" (???) he was born abt. 1906 in Wilkes Co. I remember my grandfather telling me this tragic story of his younger brother being shot and killed by mistaken identity in Wilkes County where they grew up. Their parents were Thomas & Sarah Elizabeth Wyatt Royal who later moved to Ashe Co. I'd love to hear from anyone who has heard this story and can give me any info at all, or who may be related to this family in Wilkes Co. Deborah
