One of them is on my property and the other one is about two miles up the road from me. Your John Martin Powell that married Mary Owens is buried in the John Powell Cemetery on Little Big Ivy Road in the community of Parsonsville. There are several graves in this cemetery - some have names on the stones and others do not. This cemetery is located on my father's great-nephew's property. This great-nephew descends from John Martin and Amanda Catherine SPEARS POWELL. So gaining access to the property would not be an issue. In the meantime, I will check with my cousin to see how accessible this cemetery is now. It used to be located within a cow pasture, but I am not sure anymore how much the field has grown up.
