    3. Thanks Sharon. It's always helpful to get a new perspective and angle to chase. I haven't chased the disposition of the land so stay tuned. I avoided the whole Jesse son of Jeremiah, son of James, thing in my original email quite on purpose. As I continue to delve deeper into the Wilkes Caudill's, I continue to be amazed at the small "coincidences" that continue to surface. The Stephen Caudelle = Jeremiah's property is a prime example. Really keeps me going ... full of suprises. I can tell you that our one YDNA sample from the Jesse-line matched our one Jeremiah-sample extremely closely. Measuring 37 markers, we mismatched at two markers ~ both fast moving. Measuring those two results against a Stephen A. sample, we both mismatched four times at fast moving markers. Our two Stephen A. samples are a bit more distant yet clearly genetically related. I'm dying to get a James Jr. participant: to the extent that I'll pay the expense for a participant with a documented lineage back to James Jr. If you know anyone, let me know. Thanks as always and Happy hunting. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sharon Goetz" <sgoetz2@comcast.net> To: <ncwilkes@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, February 20, 2007 4:16 PM Subject: Re: [NCWILKES] Joines + Caudill ~~~ Now that's Cool > Lenny, > Jesse P. 3. Lenny, I will check with DAR and see if anyone recent has joined under James Jr. although they will be female and I believe that you actually need a male descendant for DNA testing. Is that correct? If so I wonder if their are any SAR applicants for James Jr. that are recent. Just a thought! Thanks so much, Sharon ----- Original Message ----- From: "Lenny F.
