My 2nd Great Grandfather William Green Tedder is not quite white. He is believed to be part Indian.His wife was. He is very dark.His mother was Mary Riddle daughter of Debby Riddle.Debby Riddle is the Daughter of John T. Riddle. William Green's father was William Hubbard Tedder Irvin Reid married Elizabeth Riddle. Debby was Elizabeth Riddle's sister. Irvin Reid ( per a deceased Tedder genealogist ) was said to have fathered both Elizabeth and Debby's 2 children Mary and Leander. Any of this story ring a bell?
