Grace was my g,g, grandmother and was owned by David Yates and later by Sara Yates Bunker and Eng Bunker. Where and from whom did David Yates buy her? Did David recieve her as marital property when he married Nancy Hayes? When Jesse Hayes died, and estate settled in 1812, slave Jerry was given to son Joseph Hayes.
