No disrespect is meant by using the abbreviated term, but some people simply close down, rather than trying to wrap themselves around a longer name. Thanks, Nancy, I know Eddie wasn't trying to be disrespectable, and you are right about people not wanting to use the longer name: I usually use the letters LDS, myself. My "lesson" was for those who might not know the correct name of the Church. Also, the term "Morman" is not always seen in a good light, which is a shame, because the man Morman, who preserved so much of the history in the Book of Morman and played such a large part in that history,was a man who was worthy of great honor.
