To Darcy and Katherine: Did any of your Edwards ancestors live in Anson County, NC and then migrate to Marshall County, MS? I'm trying to get back beyond a William Edwards (1782-1852) who supposedly was born in Anson County, NC. and migrated to MS around 1840. He married (1) Jane Everett (1804-1826) and then Sarah Lockhart (abt 1810-1862). With Jane he had one child, William Everett Edwards (1826-1890) and with Sarah he had 8 children.
