Specifically death dates and places of burial. John Martin Powell b. May 1880. Married Amanda Catherine Spears (my mother's aunt) 24 December 1905 at Wilbar, Wilkes, NC. Amanda b. July 1884. She died sometime between 1928 and 1930. Children: 1. L. Edward b. 10 June 1912 deceased 2. Lula F. b. 16 February 1914. M. a Phillips deceased 3. Vergie M. b. @1917. Married a Hamby 4. Fannie Pearl b. 2 July 1919. Married a Cardewll. (I have her obituary from last month) 5. Alvin b. @ 1922. deceased 6. Frony P.(?) b. 8 June 1923. Married a Ball. deceased 7. Madison R. b. @ 1928 deceased I cannot find cemetery records for Wilkes County. Are these put into books and sold by a genealogical society?
