Surnames: Barnes, Sherrill Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/xUB.2ACE/4244 Message Board Post: I'm seeking info about the William Barnes Sr. household, which was in Upper Wiikes in the 1860 census and in the Little River township of Caldwell County in 1850. Family consists of husband William and wife Margaret, daughters, Susan or Susanna, Sarah, Martha and Charity, and sons, William, John and Peter. In 1860, William Jr. is also in Upper Wilkes and married. His wife's name is illegible on the census form, but it appears it starts with a M. They have a daughter Mary, who is 4 months old at time of census. I'm particularly interested in learning more about daughter Sarah to determine if she is my ggggrandmother. There may be a connection to the family of William and Charity Sherrill. Any help would be appreciated. Regards, KD Hatton
