John, Thomas, Richard, Elizabeth (Sir James) & Nancy & all their decendants are in the Ferguson Book. My Step-Grandmother was one of their decendants. Also several of my friends & neighbors. CBONNIEBOP@AOL.COM
HI.. Would you please check both books for Edward Ferguson (Farguson, Furgeson, etc)? He would have been in Wilkes Co NC before 1823. Probably born in the late 1790s or early 1800s. Also, my Bryant DENNIS may have been from Wilkes Co NC. He is born around the same time period. I saw on the Rootsweb "Luffman" Message Board that there is a lady who knows a lot about the history of the Surry and Wilkes Co. Luffman family. She invited people to contact her? I think her note was in Jan. 2004 so she might not still have the same address but that might be a possibility. ----- Original Message ----- From: <gc-gateway@rootsweb.com> To: <NCWILKES-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, January 06, 2007 9:34 PM Subject: [NCWILKES] Wilkes County 1840's This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list.
