According to my records (which may be worng) Elizabeth Feathers was married to a RICHARD PARSONS, not ROBERT. This is extremely important to me because she is in my bloodline apparently. Was one of her children by Richrad or Robert, a James Parsons born in about 1760 in Surry County and died sometime after 1833? This James was married to Mary Fields?? Then a daughter of theirs (Mary Hannah Parsons)married a Thomas McNeil. Their child Mary Polly McNeil then married John Parsons (a cousin?). It seems that the husband of Ann did nothing. I have read in some books that sometimes the three of them would share the same bed. It seems that either the husband was so enthralled with her that he just could not leave her or maybe he just did not care with whom she bedded.
