Did some of these Fergusons marry a Cook or a Capell? If so, then I may be able to refer you to someone who has a GREAT amount of info. Some ended up in the Paducah, KY area, also. There was Katie Ferguson, who has been deceased many years. I am not real knowledgeable (although they are distantly related;) however, I know someone who has all this history. Is anyone familiar with the George and Maragret walker line? George was born in Maryland circa 1780. Their son Thomas married Lucinda Laws and moved to Alexander County. Thomas and his son Finley appear to have lived on land once owned by my Ancestor Charles Walker also of Maryland

Kina, I request a query for your Bulletin; I'm trying to locate and correspond with members of the Matthew Cox family of Wilkes and later Caldwell counties. William was born in VA but moved to Wilkes Co. around 1790. William died in Wilkes Co. in 1804. He had several sons including Carter, Mastin, Reuben, Matthew Jr. and I think Braxton Cox.
