I am trying to find information on the following family: Mr. Smith b. about 1849 and lived in Goldsboro, Wayne NC married his wife (don't know her name) in about 1874. They had 5 children that we know of: Patience b. about 1875 in Goldsboro married James Henry Howell, Kate Smith (she was also married--don't know her spouse), A daughter that married Forrest Pope, Andrew, and another daughter whose name we don't know.
