Thought I would repost this again since families will be getting together for the holidays. Maybe someone might be able to make my Christmas. This family was from around the Wayne and Greene County area in N.C. I would like to find parents or siblings of this James Rose. He has been my brickwall for three years now. My great great grandfather was James Rose who married Mary Carraway. Mary was the daughter of James Carraway and Sarah Chase. Mary had siblings Henry Bell Carraway and George Carraway. James and Mary Rose had children John Wright Rose who married Cora Walston, Bushion Rose who married Liety Jones, Hardy Rose who married Minnie ??? and Nannie Rose who married 1st William Walston in Greene Co. in 1895 and 2nd W. Frank Pittman in 1922 in Wilson Co. After James Rose's death, in about 1890, Mary married Joseph Teachey or Teacher in 1900 in Greene Co., NC. John Wright Rose was my great grandfather and his daughter, Bertha Leigh, was my grandmother. Other information I have on Hardy Rose is he is buried in Pikeville Cemetery and he had a son, Archie Rose, who owned a trucking company in Goldsboro. Hardy also had other children, Minnie Ruth who married Ed Howell, Haywood, Pauline, and Lucy. If anyone has any information on this family please contact me at [email protected] Thanks, Chris
