Surnames: Wiggs, Mayo Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/wUB.2ACE/515 Message Board Post: Looking for info on the family of my great-great grandfather, John Henry Wiggs, born August 10, 1844 in NC, possibly Wayne Co. I do not know who his parents/siblings were. He was in TX in the 1880s where he married and had three daughters: Alice Mayo Wiggs, Augusta Henry Wiggs and Ada Wiggs. He died 1918 in OK and is buried there. I do know that the MAYO family is somehow connected to my Wiggs line but not sure how. Hence, the middle name of my Great Grandmother, Alice Mayo Wiggs. Would appreciate it if anyone could check their records or census that would identify the parents of this John Henry Wiggs. Any info at all is appreciated.
