Sorry, I don't have any information on James Oates, but have a little on Sarah Fellow. (She was the aunt of my 4th greatgrandfather William Fellow.) Sarah was the daughter of John Fellow and Phebe ?, born about 1726 in Talbot County, Maryland. John was born in England and came to Maryland as a small child. The Fellow family settled in Dobbs/Wayne before 1740 and were affiliated with the Contentenea Quaker Meeting. James Oates may have been Sarah's second husband. She first married Walter Kennedy in about 1745.
