Saw you all talking about Mount Olive, NC. My mother who pasted away this past August was born and raised in Mt. Olive, Wayne Co., NC. She married in 1936 and moved to Virginia, where she lived the rest of her life. I still have relatives living there and the surrounding areas. I remember my mother telling me stories of people she knew, and the surname Southerland was one of them. My mother was born 1915. Her maiden name was Bizzell. She still has a brother living in Mt. Olive. I really enjoyed visiting there as a child and remembering all the fun things and my grandmother. What years were your Southerlands and their names? June
