Hello List, This is my first posting here. I am trying to find anyone who may have family information on General Cadmus Marcellus Wilcox(Civil War). I am not looking for information on his military acomplishments, I have plenty of info on that. I am trying to determine who his father was. I know that he was born in Wayne Co. May 29,1824 and that he was about 2y/o when his father moved him to Tennessee. I know that he had a brother John who died during the war, leaving a widow and 2children behind and Gen.Wilcox provided a home for them and saw after them after the war. I know that he was never married himself. If anyone knows anything of his father/mother and where in Tennessee they moved to. I will be very thankful. Thanks, Dana Hughes-Hunnicutt
