For those interested, I ordered my copy of Watson's KINFOLKS OF WAYNE COUNTY from The Reprint Co., Publishers, PO Box 5401, Spartanburg, SC 29304. This was in 1995 and the cost at that time was $25.00. It took about six weeks, as I recall, for them to send it. The surnames I'm researching from Wayne Co. are Herring, Ivey, Grady/Graddy. Ichabod Herring was in Haywood County in my Zion Church minutes in the 1830's. March, 1858 there is noted that Charity A. Herring died that date. Was this Ichabod's mother?
