I don't suppose you have a Charlie T. Smith in this line. I believe he had a brother named Marshall and he was living in the Selma area in the 1900s. His wife was Lillie Mae Faulkner, their daughter, Ola Mae was my grandmother. Have not done much research on this line yet. Seeing as I have done a lot with the last names White and Williams, Smith seems a rather daunting task. I thought perhaps this would connect to your line in some way. The lived around the Meadow Township in Johnston Co. in 1810. John died ca. 1813-4 as his son James was taking care of his estate. Although I ran across a record that showed he might have died before 1800. Their children names were James, Lewis, Samuel,Josuah, and daughters were Edith who married Nathan Strickland, Elizabeth, Bedonia who married Thomas Allen, and one of the other girls married a Sims and an Isaac Strickland. Can anyone help more on this line?
