I received the following letter from Lenoir Cc. Register of Deeds.Has anyone else had this problem??If I knew all this info I would not need the death certificate!!!Lenior Co.is the only one I have had a problem with and this is the second time.The first time they said they did not have time to do genealogy. Ms.Fuller: In order to search our records for the death certificates you requested,we need some additional information.We must know the race of the deceased person since our early records are divided by race.We also must know at least one of the parents names of the deceased since it is very possible for more than one person to have the same name. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have been sending for death and marriage certificates from Lenoir Co for at least 5 years!!Never had to have this info before.
