Perhaps there are not any Bastardy Bonds for Sampson County in the book- but there are in individual county records. Several STRICKLANDs were listed as such by another STRICKLAND researcher a few years ago, which I beleive she obtained by court records searches. You might try contacting Sampson County and searching individual surnames for them.
