Lane, b. 1832, as the father of George W. Lane, who was husband to one of my Yelverton ancestors. I found Bryant in the 1880 census, where he was age 48, and was married to Celie, age 44. I also found a reference in the book The Heritage of Wayne County that indicated Celie was an Applewhite. Hope this helps!
