My gg-grandmother Anne Boyett Howell's parents came from Wayne County to the Gibson County area of Tenn about 1824. They were Caleb Howell, son of Archilous Howell, and Cela/Sela Boyt, daughter of Thomas Boyt Jr and Elizabeth "Betsy" Howell. I live in Sardis, MS. Anne married Jordan Dickson/Dixon, whose father John Dickson apparently was in the Moore and Franklin Co., NC area. Have not been able to place him in Wayne. Joyce Dixon Helmers
