I am so sure this information is intended to be shared. I have not yet published any of my research, but I share with everyone researching my families and they with me. I don't know where I would be without the kindness of strangers. The fact that my family's stories are told is so much more important than my getting credit for the research. While I am careful to site the materials I am given, I could honestly care less if anyone sites me. After all, somewhere down the line, I am helping someone else tell my and their family history. I understand your frustration ... perhaps this is a better way to view it. I'm never going to get rich from this, it is a labor of love.
