I would really appreciate hearing from anyone on this list with a Bundy connection or perhaps a lead to someone who is working on this family. My ancestor's brother, (William Bundy) married a lady (Achsah Fletcher) who was attending the Contentnea MM back in the early 1800s, and they all left the area and moved to Marlboro Co., SC. I have found the brother in the early Wayne Co. census, but not my ancestor who was John Bundy. John married a lady named Susan A. or Sussanna and in their home was a lady named Sarah Graham who lived to be 107. Sure could use some help with locating John and discovering Susan's maiden name. She did name one of the sons John Albert Bundy. Is Albert a common surname in Wayne? Or it could be for the father of one of the parents. Thanks. Joanne H. NC [email protected]
Could the name be Bandy. I have heard that name in eastern NC. ----- Original Message ----- From: Joanne Harley <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, January 14, 2001 10:53 AM Subject: [NCWAYNE] Bundy family > I would really appreciate hearing from anyone on this list with a Bundy > connection or perhaps a lead to someone who is working on this family. > > My ancestor's brother, (William Bundy) married a lady (Achsah Fletcher) who > was attending the Contentnea MM back in the early 1800s, and they all left > the area and moved to Marlboro Co., SC.
