    2. Thanks Laura, I wish that I had more to go on. I sent away for the Social Security application list and Roland's father and mother were on it, but they were unreadable. Roland's birthday was 6 July, 1911, this could be 1910 according to the SS list. Roland was married to Fran's mother, Isabella DeMello from 1941-1945. She never met his parents. Roland died in Mexico, may 1972. He was retired Air Force. His middle name was "Long".
