The 1860 Census for Blue Ridge, Watauga County, NC lists Thomas Hodges and Phoebe (Moody) Hodges with a daughter Judia C. Hodges, age 3. Phoebe Moody is a sister to Mary (Polly) Moody who married (Rev.) Larkin Hodges. Polly was born 10/4/1798 and would be a bit too old to have a child born in 1857. I am related to the Green(e) Families as well as the Moody Families. My gg-grandfather was Joel Moody, the youngest son of Edward Moody and Frances (Fanny) Carter, parents of Phoebe and Polly Moody.
