My inlaws are descended from John Winebarger who was the Festler boy adopted by Cunrod Winebarger. As far as the family knows their is no documentation of the adoption. We have a Marcus Denmark Winebarger as the youngest son, with the same info as the previously mentioned De Marcus Winebarger. This family did not donate the land for the Winebarger school to the best of anyones knowledge. They did operate the Winebarger Mill in the Meat Camp community. His son, Jacob's family were charter members of the Mt. Zion Luthern Church which was organized in 1896 in the Meat Camp community.
