I was told recently that William Winebarger donated the land for the Winebarger School and the Mount Pleasant Lutheran Church. William was a son of Hosea Winebarger, grandson of Jacob Winebarger & great-grandson of John Winebarger. Is that true or do you have the name(s) of those who did donate the land for that school and church? I would love to see your file and appreciate you sharing. What would be the easiest way to send you the info? I have it stored in gedcom and paf formats. I can also transfer it to word if that would be easier. Just let me know. Unfortunately I do not have the name(s) of those who donated the land for that school and church. My mother-in-law asked her uncle and he said he had never heard of either. Only about the adoption and the mill in Meat Camp. The Winebargers are actually my husbands family and they are from the Gamewell area of Caldwell Co. , but descend from Ebenzer Winebarger from Watauga Co. Thank you to everyone in this group who helped me with my research over the past 2 1/2 years for my Winebarger-Oxford- Miller-Holman-Blackburn-Moretz and Ford (Thomas Floyd Ford family of Ashe Co.)-McDaniel-Curry families of Watauga Co., NC!
