It's in the body of this message because the List won't accept attachments. It needs formatting but the elements are all in order so that should be fairly easy. Gene Blair on St. Simons Island GA. The Henson Chapel UMC Cemetery Transcription "Henson Chapel Cemetery is the property of the Henson Chapel United Methodist Church, and is located in the old community of Amantha. It is now known as Cove Creek. To get to the cemetery from Boone, NC, take US-421/US-321 out of town towards Tennessee (421 is North, 321 is South) At the point where US-321 forks off of US-421, take US-321 left about 1 mile. Turn right on OLD 421 at the Cove Creek Grocery. Travel 2.3 miles. You will pass the historical Cove Creek School. The Henson Chapel church is on the left of a sharp righthand curve. You may park here to walk across the street to the cemetery. Don't miss seeing the Chapel either, as it is the only Revivalist Gothic building in the county. It was built in 1926 and is well worth a visit. This transcription is a combination of Plat book record with stone inscriptions. In many cases the names in the plat book and on the stones are different. When this happens, the name on the stone is included in the inscription. Comments are enclosed in brackets.
