A word file would be great if that isn't too much trouble. I certainly appreciate your help and really look forward to receiving your file. I have it stored in gedcom and paf formats. I can also transfer it to word if that would be easier. Just let me know. Unfortunately I do not have the name(s) of those who donated the land for that school and church. My mother-in-law asked her uncle and he said he had never heard of either. Only about the adoption and the mill in Meat Camp. The Winebargers are actually my husbands family and they are from the Gamewell area of Caldwell Co. , but descend from Ebenzer Winebarger from Watauga Co. Almost all the lines to my side of the family are from Watauga Co also. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mark & Sherry Reeter" <m-sreeter@embarqmail.com> To: <ncwataug@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, January 10, 2008 5:25 PM Subject: Re: [NCWATAUG] Winebarger information > My great-great grandfather was John & Nellie Oxford Winebarger's youngest > son - De Marcus "Mark" Winebarger.
