Margaret, I show that John Dula, son of Bennett, married Mary Privette. John was born about 1799 and died between 1870-1879 in Caldwell County, NC, and Mary was born about 1803 in Iredell Co., NC. I show that her father was Macarias. I do not have the information on Thomas Dula who married Laura Laxton. Would that be Thomas, a brother to the above John Dula? Is this your family? I am a Dula/Dooly descendant. Would love to exchange information with you.
