My name is Brenda Alexander. My Grandmother was Carrie Bell Moore McGlamary (born May 1888). She was born in Sullivan County Tennessee, to James(born Oct 1845) and Mary Moore (born May 1859). She had a lot of brothers and sisters. This is all I know of my Grandmothers Family except that they her parents were born in North Carolina.. My Grandmother always told us that she had family in Oklahoma, but we don't know who they are. I am so sorry for not paying closer attention and asking more questions when I younger. She long gone now but I loved her dearly and I want to know more about her and her family. Moore Brothers: Dennis, William, Leander, Moore Sisters: Bertha, Katie, Cordia, Addie, Alverda, (Carrie) She married Ulysses G. (Mac) McGlamery/McGlamary Jan. 7 1909 and they lived in Bristol, Virginia. I am very much interested in the Moore family and have been looking for a long time but I don't seem to be able to find anything. I am hoping that you will be able to help me.
