Linda - You don't give any dates, or places for the earlier ones (as I'm sure you know, Watauga Co. was only created in 1849, from several surrounding counties)? Any relation to Martha Marina Church (b May 1846 at Wilkes Co. - d 5 Nov 1935 at Fleetwood, Ashe Co.)? Her father and mother were Nathaniel Church and Lucinda (Lynn?) (Laws?). Martha Marina Church was my great-grandmother, and married my great-grandfather William Harrison Greer around 1869/70.
