Page 72 - Among the first pastors of this mother church are: Richard Gentry, of Old Fields: According to my records, Pastor Richard Gentry was born abt. 1730 Hanover County, Va. and died abt 1811 Surry County, NC. Does anyone know who this Richard Gentry's wife was? Was she a Durham or a Miller? His son Richard Junior 27 Dec 1755 married Gestin Hedgepath on 27 Oct. 1793 in Surry, NC.
