I understand that there is a Cook family cemetery in Triplett (or maybe Deep Gap). James P. and Doshie Cook are buried there. James died in 1950 and Doshie died in 1974. Can you tell me exactly where this cemetery is and if there is any information on its history and who all is buried there? I am a descendant of James. I understand the Cook family arrived in NC from Pennsylvania around 1770, or maybe earlier, and that Cook's Gap was founded by them. Any info you have will be greatly appreciated.
