I am looking for my gg grandmother named Mary Jane Davis according to my grandfathers delayed birth certificate. She was born in Watauga in 1866. Not sure what her birthday is. Some in my family say her maiden name is Guy but on my grandfather b-certificate she wrote her maiden name as Mary Jane Davis. From stories I have heard she was kicked off the reservations for being with a white man(not sure). I found her in 1910 in Tazewell Virginia with sons David McNeil and Howard and daughter Nellie. I was told she married a William Martin Davis. I was also told she left behind in Watauga a set of twins perhaps Ellen and Annie not to sure about the names but I believe that is what is told.
