My name is Brian Fannon, and I'm doing research on the Buffalo Trail in Watauga County. I've found a few intersting tidbits, but am searching for any mention of it - old journals, deeds that used it as boundary - anything and everything that might help document it. This is for a thesis at ASU, but I have a strong personal interest in the subject as I am from the Beech Creek area - I would someday like to pull together a documented early history (pre 1800) of this area. Any help would be appreciated, and I'll be happy to share any info that I have (including Ward family history).
