    3. Hi Brett, My ancestors were also among the founding members. A couple of years ago I made the trip across country to Watauga County and visited both the existing Three Forks Baptist Church and the location where the original church once stood. There are photographs on my web site of the site of the original church site. http://www.johnwall.com/nc/ I cannot remember the name of the road it was on off the top of my head, I will look through my notes and see if I can find the exact directions. Otherwise the the church secretary was the one that gave me directions on how to find it.
