Greetings, I am looking for information on the Binghams who were located in Sugar Grove/Cove Creek in the late 1800's and into the 1900's. My Grandfather was WO (William Otto) Bingham and a Doctor in the area. We are trying to figure out who his parents and and their siblings were. He married Cora Alison who was from TN. She is buried in Cove Creek. They had a 400 acre farm on 321 in Sugar Grove. He was born in 1884 and died in 1950 in Elizabethton, TN. His children were Blanche, Helen, Mary Lee, Robert and John. He had sisters named Ruth, Pearl, Edna and Hattie. They moved to Roan Mountain in the late 30's. Hi daughter, Mary Lee remained on the farm. There are rumored to be some "love children" out there that caused the move. The family wouldn't talk about it. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Suzy Trivett Pearson
