    1. RE: Looking for kin.......my reply!
    2. Greetings to all! I wish to express my sincere and heart-felt appreciation for all of you who have taken the time to help me. As I stated in my query, I am searching for the PARENTS and/or SIBLINGS of: Elizabeth Ann Ward, born in probably Dutch Creek or Valle Crucis. 6-2-1817 Thomas Franklin Norwood, born in probably Banner Elk, 1-18-1813 I have volumes, upon volumes, of information concerning their 14 children and their families. This includes photos, family bible records, census reports, etc. What our whole linage is missing is the PARENTS and/or siblings! Although much has been placed on the InterNet trying to connect Thomas Franklin Norwood to the Norwood/Hogg family.....that information is false. I have the original book by Aves-Norwood and Thomas is not listed! What we know about Elizabeth Ann Ward: She was called "Betsey", had red hair, spoke with a lisp and was short. She did not have a very good attitude! Her mother's last name is possibly "Kennedy" or "Cannady".........this from an audio tape of one of her children made by LJ's granddaughter. Thomas Franklin Norwood was a blacksmith by trade. We have traced the family from NC to Georgia to Tennessee. One of their sons, William Norwood was born in Watauga County, married Lydia Townsend there and spent his entire life in that area. He is buried there. Any help on the PARENTS or SIBLINGS of Elizabeth or Thomas is greatly appreciated! Thanks, Charlotte
