My Dad grew up on Howard's Creek and met my Mother in Maryland during WWII and moved to West Virginia and I love to read anything about Watauga County. I don't think this book was meant to be for genealogy just about the college and Wataugas 100th birthday , Hope someone will have time to put it on the net so anyone who wants to read it can, I just don't have the time to do it.
