Going back through the Marriage Register of Watauga Co. and comparing names with those in my files and I came across the marriage date for Clayton A. Ward (son of Robert L. and Eliza R. Harmon Ward) and Hazel Mast on 12/25/1950. What caught my eye was the fact that Hazel is listed in the Marriage Register as Hazel Mast Harmon, which would seem to imply that she had been previously married to a Harmon. I do not have any other Hazel Mast in my files and have no idea as to who her parents might be or which Harmon she had previously married. Can anyone help me with either question? Tom
