Jack W. Miller Mr. Jack W. Miller, 75, of 3700 X Street, Vancouver, Washington, died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2006, at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale, Arizona. He was born Jan. 22, 1931 in Watauga County, a son of the late William Clay and Blanche Wilson Miller. Mr. Miller was a retired carpenter and of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include one son, Gus W. Miller of Indian Springs, Nevada; two brothers, Bobbie R. Miller and wife, Emogene, and Burl B. Miller and wife, Wilma, all of Zionville; a special friend for 18 years, Betty Nordness and her five children, Connie, Cindy, Charlene, Carol and Chris. A number of nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Doris Bumgarner; and one brother, Howard E. Miller. Services were conducted Saturday afternoon, Feb. 25, 2006, at Zionville Baptist Church. Officiating were the Rev. Carl Johnson and the Rev. Keith Miller. Burial followed in the Zionville Baptist Church Cemetery. Hampton Funeral Service were in charge of the arrangements.
