I'm just curious if anyone knows if there was a migration from Watauga Cty to Kentucky as my great-great grandparents married there. My great great grandmother, Anna Watkins Shearer, Daughter of Martha Rebecca Farthing and Thomas Findlay Shearer, was born in Blowing Rock, and her husband, James Porter Carroll was born in Leesburg, Harrison Cty Kentucky.
