I see that I already have his CD he so kindly sent it to me a few years ago. Glad that you found the information on Anson. You are related to Cooks then. Wonder if that mystery about President Benjamin Harrison will ever be solved. There seems to be no concrete evidence. I know my Mother thought for sure her family was related to him. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Katherine Chester" <kjachester@bellsouth.net> To: <ncwataug@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, January 17, 2008 9:20 AM Subject: Re: [NCWATAUG] A most asked question >I am actually in Hudson, Caldwell County. I would be happy to share the info I have and a couple of files my mom recieved from Bob Moretz - historian. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Cynthia Madsen" <lalala@cfl.rr.com> To: <ncwataug@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, January 16, 2008 8:47 PM Subject: Re: [NCWATAUG] A most asked question >I have Doshie Harrison as born 17 May 1885 and married 2 March 1908. I have been going through and straigtening out some duplicates. I was only to the c's, but i skipped ahead and found that i have the same info for that family. I would be happy to trade what I have! For Elias the only date I have is abt 1814 and for Elizabeth i have 1819. His parents where James Swift and Linda Eggers (14 Dec 1791-8Jan1858). Linda was a daughter of Landrine Eggers and Joanna Greene. I have 10 children for Elias. Young (1835), Dudley(1838-31Mar1863 of disease in camp)Sherman(1841), Mary W (1843), Margaret(1845), John (1848), Wellington(1851), Nelson (1853), Elizabeth(1856) and Matilda (1859). Sheila for some odd reason it wouldnt let me send this to you directly, but i'm gonna send it to the group so anyone else who needs the info can use it to.
sorry about that that just coping out what was in the Caldwell Hertiage book since I am still straightening out my tree. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Carolyn Curtis" <curtis.real-estate@worldnet.att.net> To: <ncwataug@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, January 16, 2008 6:15 PM Subject: Re: [NCWATAUG] Fw: McGinnis/Walker/Gragg/Swift > James B.
