Jeramiah Ellison married Elizabeth Miller in 1843. She was the daughter of David Miller. Does anyone have any information about Jeramiah (Jerry) or Elizabeth. On 4 July 1833 Martha Hampton signed a deed between Jerimiah Hampton of Wilkes County and Aaron Hampton of Ashe County. I want to know the relationship of Martha to the above two Hamptons. It states on Pgs 303 & 304 that Landrine Eggers (the first) came from London to the eastern part of NC, then to Ashe County. It states that his first wife and their children are forgotten I know from person experience that this is a very good reference and guide book, but alas, it doesn't contain everything.... note all my notations in the colomns and extra folded sheets of information between the sheets! Well on with this.... It states on page 73 that Mary Eggers, Landrine Eggers and his negro man George Anthony Reese were members of the Three Forks Baptist Church. This is where my ancestor, Rev. William Watkins Farthing and his decendents preached and taught the gospel. Mary is just listed, it does not give a relationship with Landrine. on this page. ----AND---- Landrine the 1st did have a son named Landrine.... and a grandson named Landrine.... Sorry in advance for any typos! :) A History of Watauga County by John Preston Arthur P329 John McBride came from the north of Ireland and settled in New Jersey, from which place he moved to Rowan County with the New Jersey settlers. He married Mary Baird in Rowan, and their children were: Brazilla, who married Rachel Wilson in Rowan; Timothy, who went to Missouri, where he remained, and William, who married a Miss Swicegood in Rowan and died there. One of the daughters married Levi Heath; Ellen married Landrine Eggers, while another daughter married David Goss, who moved to Missouri. Brazilla was in the War of 1812 and named his first son for Andrew Jackson Brazilla's children were: Andrew Jackson, who married Polly Green; Hiram, who married Mary Farthing; Silas, who married Emily Green; Brazilla Carroll, who married Catharine Brinkley, of West Tennessee; Sarah, who married Harrison Johnson; Ann, who married Squire Green; Mary Amanda who married John Combs; Emily who married Jonathan Green. Brazilla's second wife was Elizabeth Eggers, and their children were: Manly, who married Martha Norris; John who married Miss Greer; Rachel, who married George Hilliard; Page 330 Ellen, who married Bruce Harman; Louisa, who married Jacob Younce; Martha, who died unmarried at the age of sixteen; Nancy, who married William Church; Elizabeth who married Richard McGuire. From the gravestones in the Cove Creek graveyard the following was taken: Rev. Brazilla McBride was born September 27, 1790, and died December 10, 1858; Hiram McBride was born August 9, 1818, died July 30, 1880; Mary, wife of Hiram, born February 21, 1818, died May 26, 1869; Rachel, wife of Brazilla McBride, born February 15, 1797, died August 18, 1839. From the A. J. McBride graveyard the following was taken: Rev. Andrew J. McBride was born November 27, 1822, and died November 12, 1891; Silas McBride was born November 18, 1827, and when he died he was aged seventy-two years, six months and twenty days; Elijah Green was born November 4, 1800, died July 15, 1882. Something that you might find interesting is Brazzilla's sister, Ellen, married Landrine Eggers. Then it states that his second wife was Elizabeth Eggers...
