Those attending are asked to bring family pictures and memorabilia to share and a covered dish for the lunch. Drinks and paper products will be furnished. Registration and fellowship will begin at 10:30am followed by lunch. Those interested may make a visit to the family home site and cemetery located on Beech Mountain during the afternoon. William Berry Norris and his wife, Martisha, were among the first settlers on Old Beech Mountain during the 1800's. Living in a house now owned by the Crawford family, they became the parents of nine children, seven of whom survived. Those were Julia Ann Norris Hagie, Leroy Russell Norris, Bynum Lee Norris, Zillia Norris Cook, Grady Hall Norris, James Luther Norris, and Roscoe Norris. If you are descended from any of these children this is your reunion. Come and meet your cousins!
